Homemade Tomato Soup

Really… I’m not a soup fan, but after a week of rainy weather and walking around with a slight cold, I last night came home in craving for Tomato Soup!

I made fresh soup with roasted tomatoes, loads and loads of garlic and spinach.  And you know what… it was actually quite lovely ( well, that is my opinion as a soup amateur 😉

I never had green finger, most plants died before the even entered my living room… Until a couple of years ago somebody gave me an orchids.

To my astonishment he did not only not die, but after a couple of months rewarded me with beautiful flowers.

Now, about three years later, I have a few more, and this is the result…. Enjoy!!

In our office canteen everything is always the same; the same people lunch together every day, and on thursdays we have chips, on fridays there’s fish every week.

The only thing that changes every week, is the small decorations on the tables. Every Monday there are different flowers to cheer up lunch.

For weeks I have been captured them, and this is my collection….

I enjoy it so much that probably in a couple of weeks I’ll be posting an update

This is it, for weeks I have been looking forward to it…. I’m finally going on holiday.

I love browsing  around in bookstore, especially those with tables different stories and with dozens of little corners to where you can sit and flip through the stack of books I usually collect. The Waterstones in Amsterdam is such a store, it’s impossible to just go in for 10 mins and buy 1 book…

For my holiday I I want to be prepared for every reading mood, so these were the ones which will be traveling with me.

Last night when we walked home from after having dinner in the center of Haarlem,

I saw this single shoe standing lonely outside of a shoe shop, it was kind of a sad sight, like to say,

“hey guys, I’m all alone, let me in!”

Biological birthday

Today was Sis’ birthday, so the whole family went for dinner in this great biological restaurant; AANGENAAM in Haarlem.

Not only was the food biological, but also the beer and my boyfriend even had an biological cognac with his coffee as a desert.

But also the place was so full of great little things that I couldn’t stop myself from shamelessly shooting some pics in the restaurant.
